1hr Initial Assessment
Initial assessment of one hour involving a thorough physical screen and slow-motion video analysis of your swing. The aim of this initial assessment is to identify your current physical characteristics that are likely to limit your accuracy, power and enjoyment of the game. After this session you will have a full understanding of any physical limitations that will negatively affect your performance and a co-operative training plan will be outlined.

Half hour re-evaluation sessions
The purpose of these sessions is to re-assess your capabilities to allow a smooth and effective progression of your regiment. We will review key physical markers and discuss how these have been positively influencing your play so far, and build new exercises and technique drills into your plan based on the improvements we find. Client usually opt to have these reviews in 3-week periods to allow a sufficient training period to take effect between sessions.

This 12 week program consistently creates players who are more accurate, create more distance and are empowered to further progress their abilities through the knowledge they have obtained. Further, many players can finally enjoy the game without pain. The main concern we hear from players thinking about undertaking a program like this is that they fear we may ‘dismantle’ or play with their swing. Our belief is that there is no one correct way to swing a club, we believe there are infinite variations. But we do believe there is an efficient swing for each person based on what they can physically do. As physiotherapists, we aim not to adapt your swing, but rather build the conditioning, flexibility, body awareness, stability and power that you need. This can be invaluable and it is why every PGA player is now advised by a medical team.
